Does He Look Sick To You?

On Wednesday of this past week, Colsen and I went to the doctor to get his weight re-checked. He has been sleeping good and eating well and had TONS of energy... Well, when we get to the doctors office the nurse weighs him and he weighs 23.3lbs Yea!!! That now puts him in the 11 percentile and this is much better than the 4th percentile that he was in at his 18th month old check up. I also mentioned to the Doctor that when Colsen wakes up in the morning that he has been having some green mucus, but it always goes away. She looks in his ears and they are red and she then checks his throat and she sees white bumps on his tonsils and, you know what that might mean. You guessed it, he had a strep test done. well, the initial test came back negative so the doctor had mentioned that Mono had been going around. I asked, "what are the symptoms of mono in children, she answered, runny nose. I thought, great! I've had mono, but Kyle has not and I was supposed to go see a friend this weekend and Colsen was going to stay with Kyle. Well... after a three hour Doctor visit, and two tests done, strep and mono, Colsen does not have either of those. According to the Doctor he had some virus. We have also finished up the antibiotic for the ears so Colsen is now feeling good! And I was able to go see one of my best friends!! That Post is next.
