My New Year's Resolution
Like a lot of people, losing weight is my new year's resolution. I've been trying to get this weight off even before I got married. I will lose about 10 to 15 lbs and then gain it back. I can blame it on a holiday or a stressful situation, but enough is enough. I am committed this time! My overall goal is to lose 30 pounds. I started today and this is my plan to get to my goal: keep a food journal and record everything I eat and drink, only drink one diet coke and one diet sprite everyday, drink 64 oz. of water a day and exercise at least 4 times a week. I will give an update every week on my progress. I'm hoping by blogging on my progress, this will be my accountability. This is a journey not a sprint. It took me a while to gain the weight so it will take some time to get it off. I can't wait to tell how I've done next Sunday.

You will do great - and thanks for the reminder about "it took time to put it on..."
I am already looking toward MArch when I have to get this baby weight off for real!!
