Going to the Park with Daddy

Kyle surprised me and got home on Wednesday afternoon. I wasn't expecting him home until Thursday. So, this was a GREAT surprise!! After Colsen woke up from his nap, we took him to the park. Colsen loves to play on all the equipment and he loves to watch and pet all the dogs that come to the park. His newest activity is throwing trash away. There is more about that below. We also went to the park on Thursday and got to see something that we had never seen before. There is a picture below. We had a great time hanging out as a family. It was a great way to kick off the Easter weekend!!

Colsen loves to pick up trash and throw it away! He will see a piece of trash, pick it up and ru nto the trash can. Kyle or I will pick him up and let him throw it away while singing Oscar the Grouch's song, "I Love Trash". Colsen think's it's so funny!!

When we go to the park, the first place Colsen goes is to the swings. Well... on this day this is what we saw. Needless to say, we did a double take.

We were so proud of Colsen coming down this slide. Kyle and I are learning that Colsen has very little fear!
