Going to the Park

Close to were my parents live is the most amazing park. It has so many fun things to play with. Even better, it is broken up by age groups; on one side is the big kids equipment and on the other is the little kids. As you have already seen from previous posts, Colsen LOVES the park, and I mean LOVES it!!! So, while we were visiting Grandaddy, we went pretty much everyday. Colsen had a great time climbing and sliding but the most fun were the swings. On some days the swings were the only thing he wanted to do. After about 15-20 minutes or so of swinging, Grandaddy and I would try to get Colsen to switch to another activity. Colsen would go to the activity, but then after a few minutes he would run back over to the swings and tug on the swing letting us know that he wanted to go again. In any event, we had a great time!!! Here are some of the park pictures I took during the week. I should warn you there are quite a few. Enjoy!!

FYI- I need to make a correction to the post above, Colsen and I were not wanting to stop in Lafitte, but Lafayette. For all those who know Louisiana, I'm sure you thought what is this girl talking about. Thanks so much to my wonderful husband for pointing the error out to me. I now have learned to spell Lafayette, LA. I don't know what I was thinking.

Grandaddy gives Colsen a little help with the big swing.

Tire Swing- Colsen loves to push it, but he doesn't want to get in it.

It's so much fun to play in the sand!!

Colsen at the top and ready to go down!

There he goes!!

Colsen LOVES to climb and he's really good at it!!!

Loving the swing!!

Colsen LOVES the park!!!

Hmmmm...

What shall I do next?...

Colsen loves the swings so much that we couldn't get him out of them. But, Grandaddy was more than happy to push Colsen as long as he wanted.
