Hunting for Easter Eggs

This past Sunday, Grandaddy, Colsen and I went to the Easter Eggstravaganza at my parents church. It was an Easter carnival with lots of fun games and activities. We did however stay clear of the Easter bunny. Read the post before to see why. They even had a moon walk and as soon as Colsen saw it, he made a beeline for it. We let him in because there weren't that many kids in it. I'm sad that I wasn't able to get any good pictures. As it got more crowded, we had to get him out so he wouldn't get hurt by the bigger kids. He was not happy at all when we had to pull him out. Colsen wasn't sad for long because we were off to play some fun games like pick a duck in a pool and golf. Our last activity was hunting the eggs. We missed the 2 year old time because Colsen was napping but we were able to hunting with the 4 year old's. Before we actually went outside to hunt the eggs, everyone went into a Sunday school room and listened to a story. Both my dad and I were a little worried that Colsen wasn't going to sit still and listen to the story. We thought he would be up running around and trying to get into things or trying to push something. I have to tell you Colsen did GREAT!! He watched the other little boys and girls and did exactly what they did. He even got his basket and stood up when he saw the other boys and girls do so after they were told to line up. It is just another example of how our little boy is growing up. Once we got out to the playground to hunt eggs, Colsen was more interested in playing with and on the toys than hunting for eggs. I think he may have picked up one egg and put it in his basket, but then he was off to play. Grandaddy and I picked up a few so he would have some to look at when we got home. I'm glad we did that, because when we did get home Colsen was very interested in what was in the eggs as I started emptying them. We all had a great time and it was another chance for Colsen to experience some Easter fun!

The last pictures are of Colsen and Grandaddy!! I was finally able to get a cute shot of them. Grandaddy, thank you again for having us!!! We had a TERRIFIC time!!!
