We Closed!!!

We are so excited to be the proud owners of a beautiful new house!! Everything went very smooth with no surprises or problems. We feel very grateful for this amazing house and we can't wait to see how the Lord uses us in Charlotte!! Thank you for all your prayers as we stepped out in faith on this journey that has taken 9 months to complete. Now we begin a new one as we fully settle in Charlotte and really make it our home!!

This is Kyle and I with our builder, James. You can see that he is still holding the keys. We had not yet signed our lives away. James was wonderful to work with!! He built us a great house!!

This is us with our realtor, Marcia! She was also wonderful!! She walked us through the whole process!

The house is ours, yeah!!!! Your can tell by our faces that we are beyond thrilled!!

We went by the sales center in our neighborhood to tell them thank you and to pick up the last key. They have a sign that has all the new home owners of the neighborhood. We have been waiting to see our own names on that sign. So when we walked in and saw our names, I had to get a picture.

If you were wondering what Colsen did while we were at at the closing table, he went to Mom's Morning Out at the YMCA. We knew he would have way more fun at the Y then running around a conference table while screaming. And sure enough when we went to go pick him up he had a big smile on his face. He had great time!! After stopping at the sales center, we of course went by the house. I had a few of Colsen's outside toys in the car that I had wanted to put in the garage. Colsen was so thrilled to finally have a real place to ride and play with his toys. He is going to have so much fun at this house!! I can't wait!!

Vroom, Vroom!!!
We are now in the moving process! We have pretty much moved everything except for the furniture and the movers are coming tomorrow. We are so thankful for great weather and for Kyle's parents coming to help. Colsen will be so much happier to have Lolly and Gran to play with. This moving process has been a little difficult for Colsen. He's not completely sure what's going on. However, when we went to the house tonight to show it to Lolly and Gran, Colsen was able to see all of his toys that were at the apartment were now safe in a big new playroom. You could tell things were much better. Please pray that everything will continue to go smoothly and we can get all the boxes unpacked quickly!!
