Christmas Morning

Colsen woke up at his normal time. As usual he wanted his morning milk. He doesn't do much much before he has had his milk and his garbage/truck video. After milk he saw what Santa had brought him!! He ran straight for the train and immediately started playing. After a little bit of letting him play, Kyle and I directed his attention to the rest of of his gifts and his stocking. He had fun opening his presents and checking out his stocking. He loved the fact that Santa brought him some of his favorite foods, Wheat Thins and oranges! He also really like opening his presents! After that Kyle and I told Colsen that Santa had brought him one more present and it was in the garage. We put on our coats and headed that way. Colsen's first reaction to the present was not what we expected. He was scared and he cried. You will understand when you see the gift. There is a picture below. We thought we would try again later and we also knew that cousin Allie would be coming later and she would be able to help Colsen warm up to his new present. After coming back inside Colsen opened up his gifts from Lolly and Gran! All I can say is WOW!!! The helicopter, fire truck and baseball tee set were a HUGE hit!! After some play time, we headed back to the garage and let Colsen watch as his gift blow up. That seemed to help him warm up. Grami got in first and then and Colsensaw how fun it was and he got inside and started smiling and realized this was going to be so much fun!! After presents were opened, we ate Christmas breakfast; sausage and egg burritos, fruit salad, and cinnamon bread. It was so yummy and we were all stuffed!! We had a great Christmas morning and we were looking forward to seeing Aunt Sarah and cousin Allie who would be coming later in the afternoon.

This is Santa' s big gift!! Santa thought it would be so much fun for Colsen to play with especially on cold winter days when it's to cold to go outside!

After a liitle help from Grami, Colsen warms up and now thinks this is a very cool toy!!
