On the Thursday before Christmas we headed out to the Billy Graham Library. I had heard they have an awesome Christmas event complete with a live Nativity scene, horse drawn carriage rides and special music. We had a great time walking around. The best part for us was seeing the live Nativity scene. We have been really talking about Jesus' birth and since Colsen had just been in a nativity program at school, he knew all about it. We walked up and he got so excited to see Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus. He was also excited to see all the animals, especially the cow and the donkey. Since it was so close to Christmas the library was super crowded so we didn't wait in line for the carriage rides but again it was great to experience the real meaning of Christmas!!
The Billy Graham Library-I know it's hard to see but my flash just wasn't strong enough...but I hope you can kinda get the idea of what it looked like.

The live Nativity scene. Colsen LOVED it!!!

Gran, Lolly and Colsen!! There was so much to see that the camera was the last place Colsen wanted to look.

Had to get a picture of the Donkey. BE-ONK that's how Colsen makes the donkey sound. It is so cute to listen to.

Our sweet family in front of the Christmas tree at the library.

Another family pic. including Caroline who will be coming in January!!

P.S. I'm working on the Christmas post. It is worth the wait...lots of pictures!!
