Rocky's Birthday

A while back Colsen told us that July 7th was Rocky's birthday.  In case you were wondering, Rocky is Colsen's stuffed raccoon.  July 7th was quickly approaching and Colsen again reminded Kyle and I that Rocky's birthday was July 7th.  We looked at the calendar and we had some scheduling conflicts so Rocky's party would have to be postponed until later.  Fast forward to Saturday at bed time, Colsen and Daddy decided that we would celebrate Rocky's birthday on Sunday.  That meant that Colsen and Daddy would need to go to Target to get Rocky a gift.  And that's exactly what they did Sunday morning!  After they got home we had a little celebration for Rocky!  It was very cute but all I could do was look at Kyle, smile and shake my head and ask myself what have we started?

UPDATE on the Birds-This picture was taken on Saturday morning and there were two birds still left in the nest.

On Saturday late afternoon I opened the door to get a package off the front porch and the birds flew away.  That was the last time we saw them.  It was a fun experience watching the birds g
