Ms. Amy likes chocolate so I went with Hershey's Kisses and Ms. Cindy's favorite candy is York Peppermint patties.
This is what the tag attached to the candy jar said!!
This is how I packaged them to give to the teachers!!
Last night after bath, we told Colsen Mommy and Daddy had a surprise for him! Needless to say, he was excited to see what it was!! He has his eyes closed awaiting the surprise!
He was SUPER excited to see it!!
Can you guess what it is?
Of course...a Thomas the Train lunch box!! He was so excited to take it to school the next day!! I should also mention that Colsen is wearing his favorite PJ's-Rocket ships!! He LOVES the PJ's!! He would wear them every night if Kyle and I would let him.
New backpack and lunch box! All ready for school!!!
Such a big boy!! Kyle and I can't believe he's in preschool!! We are so excited to see all the new things he learns and experiences!!!
Our big boy!!
Colsen and his very proud Daddy!!
I should also mention that we learned a very big lesson today while taking pictures. DON'T GIVE THE PRIZE/REWARD UNTIL YOU'RE FINISHED!! Colsen chomped on his peppermint as Kyle and I were trying to get pictures of Colsen with each us.
I'm so proud of my little man...who is still chewing his mint!!
Colsen had a great day!!! I was so glad to see he was still wearing the clothes that he had on that morning!! When I picked Colsen up at school I was able to get a picture of Colsen and his teacher's.
Colsen in front of his school sign!!
Colsen at home holding up his piece of artwork he made at school! This year the focus is on independence, doing things for themselves and getting along with others. This piece of art work was made by Colsen and a friend in his class! They did such a great job!! I can't wait to see all the fun artwork that Colsen does!! His teacher's are big believers of child made artwork...my favorite kind!!
