Playdate!!

Today, Colsen and I met our new friends Michele(the Mommy) and Sophia at the mall. Carolina Place Mall has a really neat kids play area. Sophia and Colsen had fun running around and playing on all the toys. However, I think every parent had the same idea we had because it got really crowed very fast. By this point, it was lunch time so we went to a restaurant and had lunch. After about half way through Michele and I realized that we should have gone to the food court. Colsen is yelling "all done" over and over again while I'm trying to finish my salad and Sophia is having fun with the ketchup that came with her french fries. Michele and I looked at each other and shook our heads, what were we thinking? If the restaurant wasn't enough, we thought it might be fun to look around Dillard's as we were walking out. We first walked by the shoe department and then to the children's department. There was no looking around, there was trying to get a two year old to hold my hand or to get him off the floor after he had thrown his body down. His way of telling me he was tired of holding on to my hand! Michele and I learned a big lesson today, next time hire a babysitter and she and I will go for our own Mommy playdate, lunch and shopping! The pictures are from the first part of the playdate.
