Celebrating the 4th!!

We had a great holiday!! We started out the day grabbing some breakfast and then we were off to the bookstore to get Kyle a new book for his plane rides. Colsen also got somethings special to take home with him. We then headed home and then to the pool! Colsen can't get enough of the wa-wa!! We had a great time hanging out!! I won't name names, but one member of our family is now a lobster because they thought they didn't need sunscreen. Wrong!!! Daddy is feeling better after I rubbed aloe vera on his chest and back! After the pool, we got some lunch and then we headed home for naps! After nap time, we got ready and went to see the house again. I promise I will post pics. soon! In my opinion, no 4th of July is complete without seeing some fireworks! So my VERY SWEET husband took me and Colsen to the BEST spot to watch the city fireworks!! Infact, from now on this is our new tradition!! Just to let you know we ended up in the Bojangles Colosseum parking lot facing the Charlotte skyline!! Again the spot was perfect!! It was close enough that we could see the fireworks, but far enough that the booms weren't very loud! You know you're in a good place, when there is a helicopter right above you! What was really funny... Colsen was more interested in the helicopter than the fireworks! After the fireworks, we had not had dinner so we capped of the night with a trip to Sonic! It was a wonderful day!! I hope everyone had a great 4th!!!

Colsen and his new "tookie" It is one of his favorite Sesame Street characters!

Ready to go in the Wa-Wa!!
Touching the water!

Colsen LOVES to play with balls, which includes beach balls!! He is yelling, "ball, ball!!"

My very sweet and cute husband, who is feeling a little bit like a lobster!

My boys!! The reason why they're pointing towards the camera is because the only way to get Colsen to look at the camera is to ask him, "where's Mommy's camera?"(Thanks Lindsay for the great idea!) Daddy was also helping me out!!

Colsen pointing up saying "light, light!"

The most PRECIOUS little boy!!!

All ready to watch the fireworks!

Happy Birthday, USA!!!
