Trucks, Planes,Hellicopters and a Dr. Visit

Colsen woke up Friday morning and he seemed like he was feeling good. As the morning went on he seemed to be getting cranker and cranker and he wasn't acting like himself. I didn't want to take any chances so Lolly, Kyle and I took him to an Urgent Care place to get him checked out. I was glad to hear that his ears were clear, but his throat looked like it may be strep throat. Colsen got a Z-pack for kids and we were on our way. After we left and were heading to the parking lot Colsen saw some construction trucks and we had to stop to check them out. This made his day!! Next we were off to Hooks airport so Colsen could see some planes and we were hoping we could see a helicopter. We were able to see lots of planes!! Some even were taking off and landing!! The best part was we were able to see a helicopter up close!! The pilot was so nice that he said that Colsen could sit in it, but Colsen wasn't sure about that. He did however, love getting to see it up close!!

While we were waiting to see the Doctor, Lolly and Colsen were looking at an airplane magazine.

Lolly and her sweet boy!!

Not feeling good at all!

Colsen was so excited to see this...

Colsen just stood there and watched very closely!! He loved every second!!

On to Hooks Airport to see the planes!! Daddy and Colsen share a passion, Planes!! Daddy wants to take classes to become a pilot. He was doing that before he met Mommy!! Mommy took all of his time!! In Charlotte we live near an airport, so hopefully soon, Kyle will be able to begin the process of getting his pilot's licence.

Look at all those planes!!

There's one flying in the sky!

This is someone or some company's very nice private plane.

My two sweet boys!!

Couldn't resist getting a picture of this!! Anyone who has lived in Louisiana will understand.

The best part was seeing the helicopter up close!! And this was a very nice helicopter!!

Look how big this helicopter was!

Such a fun day seeing all of Colsen's favorite things: trucks, planes and helicopters!!
