Trucks!!

Lolly and Gran have a Kohl's and a Target very close to their house. I thought it would be fun to get up and go to the early bird sales. I wanted to see for myself what it was like. Kohl's opened at 4:00 AM and Target 5:00 AM. I set my alarm for 3:30 and I actually woke up. When I got to Kohl's, I was AMAZED!! The parking lot was full!! There were so many people in there. I found truck set for Colsen at 1/2 off the usual price, a couple of shirts for Colsen and a hand mixer. I have needed a new one. When I got ready to check out, the line was half way around the store. It took me about 40 minutes to actually check out. Next, I was on to Target. Target had some good deals, but not on what I wanted. I did manage to get a bag of 100 Mega Blocks for 1/2 off. The check out lines were half way around the store, just like Kohl's. It took me about 45 minutes to check out. I would definitely got to Kohl's again, not sure about Target. If I do this again next year, I will do more pre-planning to be ready. The best part was walking in Gran and Lolly's house with the trucks and Colsen being beyond excited!! Lolly said, it was like watching his face on Christmas morning.

You may be thinking, how are they going to get these home to Charlotte. Well...we didn't. The set was such a good deal that we left them a Lolly and Gran's. Colsen will be back and he will wonderful trucks to play with. I'm going to try to find a set here. Lolly and Gran said that if I couldn't they would be happy to ship them. You'll have to see Christmas morning if I was able to find a new set.
